Contractor Security Screening

The Ministry of Government Services (MGS) is the policy and program lead for the Ontario government’s contractor security screening program. Please refer to the MGS brochure for details about the program.

Infrastructure Ontario (IO) is required to comply which means that companies (e.g. contractors, consultants, etc.) doing certain work for IO must also comply.  The screening process is initiated directly by IO or IO service providers.

Specific instructions on when to initiate screening will be provided.  To assist companies requiring screening, IO provides a Company Security Officer (CSO) Guide which details the process for companies requiring screening.
