Client Relationship Management The Client Program Delivery team leads and develops client relationships with ministries and agencies. The team is responsible for providing strategic real estate advice to ensure optimum utilization of provincial lands and buildings in support of government and ministry objectives. The team delivers quality solutions to achieve client accommodation and ministry capital program objectives. The team is responsible for building partnerships with the government’s Facility Directors Council and Chief Administrative Officers Forum to support change initiatives and consistency in accommodation and real estate management program delivery across the Ontario Public Service.
Accommodation Planning
The team acts as an integrator of all real estate data, operating and capital forecasts to support development of each Ministry’s Infrastructure Plan section of the Government’s Results Based Planning Process. The team ensures that Client Ministries develop and adopt a long term asset management and investment approach to real estate management, consistent with provincial guidelines.
The Client Program Delivery team is also responsible for implementing the Workplace Environment Guidelines (WEG) in partnership with its client ministries. WEG is a provincial-wide initiative to support the modernization of the workplace for the OPS. WEG provides design principles to be incorporated into future workspaces in order to facilitate teamwork and collaboration leveraging technology, flexibility, fostering innovation and promoting integration and transparency. Special Construction Projects
The group provides project management services for the delivery of assigned special construction projects that are highly complex or highly visible. The major projects that are currently led by this group include:
