All properties considered for sale are circulated to other levels of government, including federal, provincial and municipal levels and their agencies. These properties are posted to the Realty Disposal Publication database. If any of the levels of government express an interest in the property, this would facilitate the potential for a direct sale. If no government bodies express an interest, the property may be considered for disposition on the open market, where members of the public and private businesses can purchase the properties through an open, fair, and transparent process.
