Infrastructure Ontario’s Loan Program was recently expanded to include Aboriginal Health Access Centres across Ontario.
With a convenient online application, no additional fees and flexible terms (up to 40 years), our loans provide affordable access to the capital markets for those who are otherwise unable.
Infrastructure Ontario’s knowledgeable staff is here to work with you to develop the best financing solution to help you achieve your goals.
Eligibility
To qualify the organization must be recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as an Aboriginal Health Access Centre. They will also provide a combination of traditional healing, primary care, cultural programs, health promotion programs, community development initiatives, and social support services to First Nations, Métis and Inuit communities.
For more information on eligibility requirements, please see the program guidelines.
Eligible Projects
Infrastructure Ontario (IO) loans can be used for any capital investments, including:
- New construction, acquisition, or renovation of facilities
- Accessibility improvements
- Acquisition of medical equipment
- Energy efficiency projects (windows, doors, lighting)
- Water, hydro, communications and HVAC systems
Where facilities are operated, but not owned, leasehold improvements may also be considered an eligible expenditure.
