Municipal Outreach Program

Through its Municipal Outreach Program, the Project Development team engages municipal officials, associations and local trades and business communities to discuss alternative financing and procurement (AFP) and its potential use in addressing the large scale infrastructure investment needs of municipalities.

Our team meets with municipal staff in both large and small venues including major municipal conferences (e.g. AMO, OGRA/ROMA), panel forums, selected workshops and one-on-one meetings.

In 2009, Project Development held a learning symposium with senior municipal leaders, met with several municipalities, attended several workshops and participated in conferences and events with the following organizations:

• Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO)
• Municipal Finance Officers Association of Ontario (MFOA)
• Ontario Municipal Administrators’ Association (OMAA)
• Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA)
• Ontario Good Roads Association (OGRA)
• Northern Ontario Municipal Association (NOMA)
• Residential & Civil Construction Alliance of Ontario (RCCAO)
• Transit authorities and municipalities involved in Metrolinx
• Toronto Board of Trade (TBOT)
