Delivering Project Success: An Owner’s Guide

The Government of Ontario is partnering with the federal government to deliver close to $7 billion in new, short term economic stimulus programs for more than 2,700 projects. These projects are aimed at all sectors of the economy, including social housing, postsecondary education, cultural, recreation and other community infrastructure.

Many jobs have already been created and tremendous progress has been made on a wide range of projects from small retrofits and upgrades to significant new capital projects. At the same time, the Government recognizes the continued effort needed to achieve substantial completion of your projects by March 31, 2011.

In order to provide some additional assistance, Infrastructure Ontario in conjunction with the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has developed a project management best practices guide entitled: Delivering Project Success: An Owner’s Guide. The Guide provides practical and proven tools to help Project Owners successfully meet Contribution Agreement obligations. We also believe that you will find the tools and techniques of assistance in all of your other infrastructure projects.
