Q. What is a request for qualifications (RFQ)?


An RFQ identifies project teams that have the required technical knowledge, production capability and financial capacity to undertake a particular project.


Q. What is a request for proposals (RFP)?

A Request for Proposals sets out the conditions and specifications required to build the specific project being tendered.


Q. What is a Value for Money Report?


A Value for Money Report is issued approximately six months after financial close on the contract with a winning bidder is reached.  The report sets out the project background, scope, options considered, a summary of the procurement process, and key highlights of the final agreement including a quantitative assessment of the savings to be achieved relative to the estimated costs of the project had it been procured through a traditional model.
