This page includes links to directories of available infrastructure funding as well databases of awards made by various grant-making institutions. Please follow the links to the individual programs or organization websites for useful information about these funding opportunities. An Infrastructure Ontario loan may be used to supplement any unfunded portion of eligible capital expenditures.
Infrastructure Ontario does not specifically endorse these programs; however, they are listed in an attempt to provide clients with information to meet their infrastructure needs.

Electricity Retrofit Incentive Program (Ontario Power Authority) |
Incentives available for pre-approved projects that result in measurable reductions in electrical peak demand. The program focuses on lighting, motors, heating ventilation and air conditioning and overall electricity systems.

The Green Municipal Fund (Federation of Canadian Municipalities) |
Provides loans and grants to municipal governments that provide leadership in sustainable development. |
High Performance New Construction (Ontario Power Authority) |
A collection of design strategies and technologies for reducing energy consumption, improving an indoor environment and minimizing the environmental impact of a building. |
Load Management (Ontario Power Authority) |
Incentives for curtailment of electricity demand for industrial, commercial and institutional facilities. |
Municipal Eco Challenge Fund (Government of Ontario) |
Designed to help municipalities undertake infrastructure projects that will conserve energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. |
| Northern Ontario Heritage Fund |
Works with northern entrepreneurs and businesses to foster private sector job creation while supporting critical infrastructure. |
| Ontario Arts Council |
Currently offers more than fifty grant programs to individual artists, collectives, ad hoc groups and organizations in 12 sectors. |
| Ontario Arts Foundation |
An open fund which future income is used to support awards and programs for the arts. |
| Ontario Trillium Foundation |
Supports organizations in the arts and culture, environment, human and social services and sports and recreation sectors. Capital grants are available for renovations and equipment purchases. |
PowerSaver Business Incentive Program (Hydro One) |
Offers financial incentives for the purchase of energy efficient technologies to help customers in the commercial, industrial, agricultural and institutional sectors increase their energy efficiency. |
Rural Economic Development Program (Government of Ontario) |
Assists with the costs of projects that use partnership to create change, revitalize rural communities, make more opportunities to develop skills, and improve access to health care. |
| Toronto Arts Council |
Offers grants to Toronto-based non-profit organizations in a range of artistic disciplines. |
