Ontario Government Announces Realty Transformation Plan

On March 23, 2012, the government announced that it will be modernizing the way it manages its office space across the province to save money and free up resources for what matters most to Ontario families — health care and education.

The realty transformation plan is a strategy that will help government to become more efficient and reduce its real estate footprint. It will shrink large government office space, sell and lease back some buildings, and use less leased space in Toronto. The plan will not affect government jobs and will make sure that the public services Ontarians value will remain strong.

IO Property Services – Client Request System

IOPS Sticker logoIO Property Services is encouraging tenants to use the online service request form available on the Client Request System (CRS), a fast and user-friendly web-based service portal that allows users to create, review and track service requests. The CRS should not be used for emergency related requests such as flooding or life safety issues. All emergency requests should be phoned into the Property Services Line at 1-877-590-5090.

The CRS provides users with an efficient and cost-saving alternative to placing service requests by telephone or email. With the CRS, requests are created in the work order system and are dispatched by a service representative within 24 hours of receipt. A work order number is assigned to each service request, allowing CRS users to follow the progress of their requests online.

The CRS is accessible for tenants in all building locations, whether owned or leased, and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week at: https://workorder.cbre.com/CRSORC. First-time users will be required to register for an account on the website. New registration requests will be submitted to the Property Services Line and, upon approval, a password will be sent to the user via email.
