Is the Alternative Financing and Procurement model right for you?
Infrastructure Ontario (IO) is interested in engaging with municipalities, universities and other public sector entities to discuss Alternative Financing and Procurement (AFP) and its potential use in the delivery of large scale infrastructure projects ($50 million or more).
The AFP model brings together private and public sector expertise in a unique structure that transfers the risk of project cost increases and scheduling delays typically associated with traditional project delivery. With an emphasis on building partnerships and creating innovative solutions, IO can offer clients assistance with financing, planning, procurement and project management – helping you deliver your project on time and on budget.
Since 2006, the AFP program has brought more than 75 major infrastructure projects to market, including such projects as Joseph Brant Hospital, Durham Consolidated Courthouse, Highway 407 East extension, Union-Pearson Express Line, and the Eglinton Crosstown LRT.
If you are interested in learning the more about the AFP process and its benefits, contact us today to set up an information session.
