Procurement Coordinator

The Procurement team leads the process of acquiring goods and services and works for Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and its business lines in a way that enhances efficiencies and value to the Province.

 

The Procurement Coordinator role is an exciting new opportunity to lead the development of procurement reporting on bidders, contract spend, and other Procurement metrics and analytics, while maintaining the integrity of the procurement data. In this role you will also focus on providing support for contract management processes, operational support for the department and administration of e-procurement tools.

 

To succeed in this role you will have experience with procurement practices, database management, and data analysis. Ideally you will also have experience with e-procurement tools and an accreditation such as PMP or CSCMP. You will be a team player who works well in a fast-paced and highly pressurized environment.

 

The successful individual will have the ability to gather and consolidate documents and templates to build a repository, and the ability to understand business issues quickly, evaluate, prioritize and problem solve a variety of tasks to ensure their timely and accurate completion, work effectively at all levels of the organization, and clearly communicate complex procurement issues in a way that can be understood by business units and other stakeholders.

 

Employment in this role is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
