Senior Business Analyst – Data Visualization and Performance Measurement

As the Senior Business Analyst, Data Visualizations and Performance Measurement you'll play a unique role within the Quality Management and Reporting team (QMR).

 

This position requires an individual who not only loves digging deep to understand business processes, numbers and data, but also has a way with words and knows how to turn cyclical reports and data visualizations into stories and actionable information for key stakeholders.

 

You will assist our clients in understanding when and how to react to their data, and lead QMR's transformation from static reporting to dynamic reporting using business intelligence applications, specifically Power BI.

 

Experience with MS Power BI, Tableau, Python, Alteryx or similar tools is essential.

 

Business leaders and project managers will rely upon your knowledge and experience in analyzing reports to expose opportunities, as such excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, is a must along with the ability to think outside of the box. You must be willing to dig deep into business processes and clearly communicate numbers, context and recommendations to executive leadership. Turning data into information will be your daily mantra.

 

You will have the ability to work conceptually, solve problems through design thinking, and use your understanding of data warehousing, data architecture, data quality processes, table structure,  dimension tables, data modeling and reporting process metadata to help drive initiatives.

 

Employment in the Real Estate Division is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
