The Director, Office Real Estate is an essential role with responsibilities split between managing client relationships, and providing leadership internally to a client facing team to ensure consistent and supported office real estate recommendations.

 

The role will be responsible for ensuring all strategic office real estate advice, recommendations, deliverables and reports are aligned with government objectives and priorities.

 

You must have direct experience in strategic asset management, real estate consulting, or corporate real estate and experience in developing, recommending and implementing recommendations in a corporate real estate environment. Knowledge and understanding of real estate trends and financial analysis such as present value, cash benefit, cash flow, and payback methodologies are essential.

 

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to coach and mentor others in a collaborative environment including providing guidance and constructive feedback is required.  Excellent analytical and research skills and strategic, critical and abstract thinking are a must.

 

Employment in the Real Estate Division is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
