Analytics Business Advisor (Fixed Term Approx 14 months)

The Analytics team is responsible for data structuring/modeling/visualization, research in emerging technologies, and the IO data strategy.

The Business Advisor supports the team to deliver high quality, on time, on budget, analytics services, by conducting business administration for the group and allowing the specialists to focus on the technical analytics work. The business advisor will focus on providing support to the VP and manager to identify potential analytics projects and manage projects in process. Ensure a consistent client experience from intake to successful delivery, of these projects by being the primary point of contact and tracking/reporting on milestones. You will also support VP and manager to ensure strong vendor relationships, ensuring sound project close out, records management and lessons learned.

The successful incumbent will have a post-secondary degree in real estate, economics or similar field, coupled with 3 years of experience in client management, business development and project tracking/coordinating in an analytics focused environment, with knowledge of data visualization and process mapping.

To be successful in this role, you will be able to define problems and identify a project specific focus based on a large volume of information/data/requirements. You will have good interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build positive relationships and deal effectively with external and internal stakeholders helping to understand the needs and expected deliverables of defined projects. We are looking for a customer/client focused attitude, collaborative style, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment of evolving organization. You will have solid communication skills (verbal and written), and the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, cogent and legible manner.

Employment in the Real Estate Division is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
