Senior IT Business Analyst

The Senior IT Business Analyst will use project management process and techniques to lead business solution delivery from inception to deployment; partner with the business and IT to gather requirements for the evaluation, design, customization and deployment of electronic business solutions, ensure deployed solutions meet/continue to meet client requirements.

 

As Senior IT Business Analyst, you will also be responsible for maintaining and administering Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server (Example, managed metadata, managing user, groups and permissions, enabling auditing and reporting, designing and implementing workflows, managing site templates, enabling social features). SharePoint Administrator experience is preferred to this role.

 

The successful incumbent will have a post-secondary degree in computer engineering, computer science, or Information Systems, knowledge of systems development methodologies and a detailed understanding of business analysis methodologies, approach and techniques. You will also have proven experience providing IT business solutions, systems development lifecycle of complex applications, knowledge of major programming languages and database management systems, and demonstrated experience implementing productivity and collaboration tools such as document management systems, workflow management systems,  financial systems,  portal solutions, Intranet, Business Intelligence tools, online meeting/conferencing, etc.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent verbal/written communication, interpersonal, consulting, consensus-building and negotiation skills, the ability to build strong working relationships, strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills to project manage IT application projects and the ability to translate technical/IT jargon to regular business language.

 

CBAP certification is essential for this position.
