Portfolio Advisor, Office Real Estate

As the key point of contact leading all aspects of Agency work as outlined in the Letter of Direction, the Portfolio Advisor develops office plans to optimize the office portfolio by aligning client demand and government supply. The portfolio advisor will provide continuity and create, develop and present recommendations and strategies in order to meet and support the government's key goals/objectives. In this role being able to balance relationships building, strategic advice, and project management is essential.

 

You must have a post-secondary degree (Real Estate, Business or equivalent); Certificate or designation in real estate valuation, or investment analysis (AACI, CCIM, MCR, CFA); working knowledge of real estate valuation principles, finance and accounting concepts and principles, feasibility analysis, and business case development; excellent financial modeling and analysis, and reporting skills; and ideally experience within real estate consulting, advisory or management.

 

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent analytical skills to research, synthesize, and analyze complex data and other information to prepare financial models, reports and presentations for senior level decision makers, be technically sound in financial analysis and modeling, solid communication skills (verbal and written) and the ability to present complex concepts in a clear, cogent and legible manner. Excellent interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build positive relationships and deal effectively with external and internal stakeholders and a customer/client focused attitude, collaborative style and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment of an evolving organization is also required.

 

Employment in the Real Estate Division is conditional upon obtaining security clearance through the Program & Policy Enablement Branch, Supply Chain Ontario of the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services.
