Senior Administrative Assistant

We are currently looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant to join a team of high performing professionals who strive to be creative and proactive, earn trust and respect, and achieve excellence while impacting the province. The emphasis on this role is to provide administrative support including: management of Senior Vice President's calendar, team and external stakeholder meeting coordination, office organization, document preparation and management, researching daily media reports, coordinating weekly communications calendar, writing quarterly results reports, supporting internal communications activities, monitoring budgets and approvals in accordance with delegated authorities.  The position will report to the SVP Business Strategy and Communications and also provide coordination support to other members of the Business Strategy and Communications.

 

You will have a post-secondary diploma in Business Administration or equivalent. Knowledge of communications, media relations, marketing and strategic planning, and knowledge of French language is an asset. You will have a minimum of 3 years of working in an administrative position supporting executives and their teams.  In addition, experience working with a diverse portfolio of functions in a corporate setting.

 

You will need to have exceptional time management, organization, and prioritizations skills along with the ability to work with limited guidance and formal structures in a complex, fast-paced environment.  You will possess a high level of professionalism and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information, coupled by strong interpersonal, communication, and facilitation / negotiation skills with the ability to influence others.
