Non-profit Long-term Care Homes
Since 2006, IO has provided Ontario’s Non-Profit Long-term Care (LTC) Homes with access to affordable financing for capital investments that provide communities with equitable access to quality long-term care accommodation.
Eligibility
Non-Profit Long-term Care Homes approved or licensed under the Long-term Care Homes Act, 2007 may apply for an IO Loan for capital expenditures. For more information on eligibility requirements, please see the program guidelines. (PDF)
Eligible Projects
IO loans can be used for any capital investments, including:
- Construction or renovation of facilities
- Accessibility improvements
- Vehicles and maintenance equipment
- Energy efficiency projects (windows, doors, lighting, etc.)
- Water, hydro, HVAC
- Communications systems
Rates and Terms
IO’s lending rates provide equitable access to affordable financing for all clients. Please contact your
Relationship Manager for today’s rate information. Non-profit Long-term Care Homes may select repayment terms of 5 to 25 years, to match the life of the capital asset.
