About the Project

  • The Whitney Block is one of Ontario's oldest government office buildings. 
  • Whitney Block rehabilitation work includes installing energy efficient windows, updating the heating, ventilation and air conditioning system and repairing the façade (e.g., the exterior of the building).
  • The rehabilitation work was complete in phases as tenants were relocated to temporary workspaces within the building while the rehabilitation work was underway.
  • IO provided project management oversight for the project on behalf of the province. Brookfield GIS was the Project Management Service Provider.
