The Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005 (the “AODA”), and the regulations made under that Act, developed province-wide mandatory standards for accessibility in the following areas: customer service; employment; information and communications; transportation; and the design of public spaces. Infrastructure Ontario’s Accessibility Policy outlines our commitment to meeting the needs of people with disabilities in a timely manner and meeting accessibility requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act, 2005 (AODA).
IO Accessibility Multi Year plan 2022-2026 (PDF)
IO’s Multi-Year Accessibility Plan outlines the steps we are taking to meet the requirements under the Accessibility Standards for Customer Service Regulation and the Integrated Accessibility Standards Regulation (IASR). The IASR includes accessibility standards for information and communications, employment, and transportation and the design of public spaces.
