We are excited to announce a permanent leadership transition at Infrastructure Ontario (IO) with you, our valued partners in the building and construction sector.
Angela Clayton has accepted a permanent appointment as IO’s Chief Executive Officer effective July 1. Her appointment ensures continuity of experience in infrastructure, strategic planning, and public-private partnerships. Her leadership over the recent past has been instrumental in advancing IO’s $100 billion infrastructure portfolio, including major transit, healthcare, and justice initiatives. Angela's vision for collaboration and innovation will continue to drive IO's commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure projects.
Let me also take this moment to acknowledge the great contribution Michael Lindsay made to IO. Through his capable leadership, IO saw incredible achievement and growth as we delivered on our established project and realty services while growing in new areas such as broadband and transit-oriented communities. Metrolinx is fortunate to have him as their permanent CEO and we wish him the best.
Under Angela’s leadership as CEO, IO will proudly execute Ontario’s ambitious infrastructure investment plan outlined in the June 2025 Market Update.
