Contract Awarded for Combined Sewer Overflow – Ontario Place Redevelopment

Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming (MTCG) have awarded a contract to EllisDon Civil Ltd. for the construction management services to re-align and extend the Combined Sewer Overflow (CSO) located at 955 Lake Shore Boulevard West for the Ontario Place Redevelopment Project.

IO and MTCG selected EllisDon Civil Ltd. following extensive evaluations through an open, fair and competitive procurement process that began in July 2025.

Selection criteria included evaluation of technical submission and price to deliver the project. The entire procurement process was overseen by a third-party fairness advisor.

EllisDon Civil Ltd. will commence construction work this month, with completion targeted in Spring 2028. For more information visit the Ontario Place Revitalization page.

This project is part of the province's ongoing infrastructure improvements to support the long-term redevelopment of Ontario Place.
