Infrastructure Ontario (IO) and the Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Gaming (MTCG) have awarded a fixed price contract of $198 million to Pomerleau to design and build a new parking structure as part of the Ontario Place redevelopment.

The Pomerleau team includes:

  • Applicant Leads: Pomerleau Inc.
  • Design Team: Arcadis Professional Services (Canada) Inc.
  • Construction Team: Pomerleau Inc.

IO and MTCG selected Pomerleau following extensive evaluations through an open, fair and competitive procurement process that began in June 2025. Selection criteria included evaluation of proposed design, technical submission and price to deliver the project. The entire procurement process was overseen by a third-party fairness advisor.

Pomerleau will begin mobilizing on site and construction is expected to start in Fall 2026. The new parking structure will be five storeys tall and provide up to 3,500 stalls at the redeveloped Ontario Place, to ensure convenient and easy site access.
