Infrastructure Ontario and Trillium Health Partners have issued a request for qualifications (RFQ) for the Trillium Health Partners Broader Redevelopment–Queensway Health Centre project.
The project will increase capacity for post-acute care at Queensway Health Centre through the construction of a new patient tower and renovations to some existing spaces.
The RFQ is the first step in the process to select a team to help deliver the project. Infrastructure Ontario and Trillium Health Partners will evaluate submissions and shortlist teams with the required construction experience and financial capacity to deliver a project of this size and complexity. Shortlisted teams will be invited to respond to a request for proposals (RFP), which is expected to be released in spring 2022*. Interested companies must register with merx.com to download the RFQ.
The project is being delivered through IO’s build-finance public-private partnership model, which transfers appropriate risks associated with construction and financing of the project to the private sector.
