Contractor Security Screening

Our Agency is required to comply with the Ministry of Government and Consumer Services (MGCS) Contractor Security Screening Program (CSSP). This means that contractors, consultants, and service providers doing work for us may be required to undergo the security screening process on being awarded a contract and commencing work. Whether a vendor is required to undergo the security screening process (and the extent of the process itself) is dependent on the type of service being provided and the security risk assessment conducted by our agency.

When security clearances are required, clearance applications can be initiated directly with us. Alternatively, security clearance applications required from vendors retained by a service provider under the Real Estate – Outsourced Service Provider Program can be initiated through the applicable PMSP or PLMSP.
