TOC Development Program

Delivering the complete communities Ontarians need

Infrastructure Ontario (IO) supports Ontario’s growth by bringing together the public and private sectors to create needed homes and infrastructure projects through the creation of Transit-Oriented Communities (TOC).

IO provides commercial advice and support to the provincial government, consults municipalities and stakeholders on local needs and uses clear, fair, transparent processes to harness the financial resources and expertise of the private sector.

The TOC program could unlock up to 340,000 new homes along GO, LRT and subway transit.

The future King-Bathurst TOC site is dependent on a planned transit station that will serve the surrounding neighbourhood with connections to subway service along the Ontario Line and TTC streetcar. Conceptual only and subject to revision.
