Aboriginal Health Access Centres

Since 2011, IO has partnered with Aboriginal Health Access Centres to help provide access to affordable financing for capital investments.

Eligibility 

Organizations recognized by the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care as an Aboriginal Health Access Centre, may apply for an IO Loan for capital investments. For more information on eligibility requirements, please see the program guidelines. (PDF)

Eligible Projects  

IO loans can be used for investment, construction or renovation of any owned capital asset, including:

  • New construction, acquisition, or renovation of facilities 
  • Accessibility improvements 
  • Acquisition of medical equipment 
  • Energy efficiency projects (windows, doors, lighting) 
  • Water, hydro, communications and HVAC systems

Rates and Terms  

IO’s lending rates provide equitable access to affordable financing for all clients. Please contact your Relationship Manager for today’s rate information. Aboriginal Health Access Centres may select repayment terms of 5 to 25 years, to match the life of the capital asset.
