Universities & Affiliated Colleges

Since 2005, IO has partnered with Ontario’s Universities and their Affiliated Colleges to provide access to affordable financing for capital investments that support their position as world-class educational institutions.

Eligibility

Eligible Projects

IO loans can be used for any capital investments, including:

  • Construction or renovation of facilities (labs, recreational facilities, libraries, residences etc.) 
  • Energy efficiency projects (windows, doors, lighting, etc.) 
  • Water, hydro, HVAC and communications systems 
  • Accessibility improvements Vehicles and maintenance equipment
  • Daycare projects 

Rates and Terms  

IO’s lending rates provide equitable access to affordable financing for all clients. Please contact your Relationship Manager for today’s rate information. Universities & Affiliated Colleges may select repayment terms of 5 to 30 years, to match the life of the capital asset.
