About the Project

The development proposal for Corktown Station envisions a mixed-use development that includes housing, commercial, and retail space, community amenities and strong transit connections via the Ontario Line, TTC buses, and streetcars. The project spans the historic First Parliament site and a northern block, with a focus on commemorating the area's rich heritage, including Indigenous history and early Canadian institutions. In collaboration with the City of Toronto, Indigenous partners, and local stakeholders, the province plans to integrate historical interpretation into the site design, supported by archaeological assessments.
