About the Project

The Exhibition TOC development site is part of Ontario’s Transit-Oriented Communities Program. It will transform the Exhibition Station area into a vibrant, mixed-use community with housing, employment, and public spaces directly connected to the Ontario Line, GO Transit, and TTC services. The site includes two provincially designated parcels and will feature Liberty New Street, enhanced pedestrian access, and a landscape strategy inspired by the area’s industrial heritage.

  • Approximately 1,450 new homes
  • Expected to generate around 200 jobs in the Liberty Village Employment Area
  • Features ground-level retail and commercial spaces including a central concourse with direct access to Exhibition Station
  • Direct access to TTC subway, GO Transit, and Ontario Line services. Includes pedestrian bridge, tunnel, and Liberty New Street with TTC bus laybys and multi-use paths
  • Over 1,650 bicycle parking spaces, exceeding by-law requirements to support active transportation and pedestrian-friendly streetscapes.
