Features

  • The Learning Resource Commons is an academic support and student services facility and the new main entrance to Humber College's North Campus in Etobicoke.
  • The building accommodates growth of more than 2,200 new students and features group and independent study space, an expanded library, enhanced student services and a student gallery and showcase.
  • The Learning Resource Commons includes space for Student and Campus Services; the library and Information Commons; a Student Access, Wellness and Development Centre; Student Support Centre; the Dean of Students and Student Success and Engagement offices, the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences and administrative offices.

Community And Green Benefits

  • The design and construction of the Learning Resource Commons adhered to Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Silver standards. LEED buildings focus on healthy indoor environments, reduced greenhouse gas emissions and efficient use of energy, water and other resources.
