About the Project
Infrastructure Ontario (IO), with the Ministry of Long-Term Care has launched the province’s Long-Term Care Development Program in order to address capacity issues in Long-Term Care. The program is offering surplus government lands that have been identified for disposition for the specific purpose of delivering long-term care. Phase 1 of the program contains 3 parcels, for a total of 23 developable acres and the requirement of developing a total of 896 long-term care beds. Phase 2 of the program began in March 2022.
IO, with the Broker of Record, CBRE, is in the process of leading the marketing of the surplus sites:
- 2165 Dundas Street West, Oakville
- Portion of 100 Bloomington Road, Aurora
- 290 Fennell Avenue West, Hamilton
