About the Project
The site, located near the Oakville GO Station along the Lakeshore West Line, has the potential to deliver new housing, employment opportunities, and community amenities that will support the creation of a community that has public spaces for relaxation and play next to the Oakville GO Station along the Lakeshore West Line.
Key Features
- Anticipated to deliver approximately 6,884 residential units in a range of unit types and sizes
- Expected to generate around 550 new jobs with significant emphasis on commercial and office use
- Features a vibrant public realm designed to mitigate and adapt to climate change impacts through sustainability measures such as geothermal and wastewater heat recovery system
- Transforms a car-centric area into a walkable, mixed-use community with new roads, bike paths, and green spaces
- Direct access to GO Transit, VIA Rail and local transit services, enhancing regional connectivity
- Pedestrian-friendly design with walkable streetscapes and active transportation infrastructure
