The Brockville General Hospital (BGH) Redevelopment project has reached substantial completion, which means major construction work is now complete.

With the achievement of this milestone, the hospital now has full access to the space and will begin testing and training in preparation for occupancy. Programs and services from BGH's various campuses will be transferred into the new space in fall 2020. Once open, BGH will operate under one roof at its Charles Street site.

This redevelopment project involved the construction of a 175,000 square foot addition and 20,000 square foot renovation. Through this project, patients in Leeds Grenville will benefit from increased inpatient beds in the Complex Continuing Care, Rehabilitation, and Acute Mental Health Units. The Project will also allow for expanded Acute Mental Health and Addictions Programming.
